Recently, Mr Jacky and the Kedai Autogate team were called to a house in Subang Jaya to check an old sliding autogate system. The customer had been facing problems for almost a month. The sliding gate motor was very slow, weak, and often got stuck during operation. On the day after heavy rain, the gate completely stopped working.

When the customer opened the control box, they found that the control panel had already burnt. Rainwater had also entered the motor because the motor cover was broken and only taped temporarily. Even the manual release system was loose, so the gate could not be opened manually.

After inspection, we found serious damage to both the motor gearbox and control board. The system was already very old, and spare parts for this model were no longer available. In this situation, repairing is not a good option because even if one part is fixed, another problem may happen again soon.

After explaining clearly to the customer, we recommended a full replacement instead of repair. The customer agreed, and we proceeded with a new installation.
